The Lakeland Public Library and Larry R. Jackson Branch Library are operating during normal hours today, Saturday, October 12th.

At the Jackson Branch Library, an event called Sewing Saturday took place where participants made fabric pumpkins. Attendees engaged in various sewing techniques, such as basting stitches, sewing in circles, gathering fabric, and stuffing the pumpkins with polyfil. The project was completed successfully by all participants, adding to the pumpkin patch created during the event.
