On Election Day, students across Polk County Public Schools participated in a unique voting event, focusing on fun food-related issues. The ballot included choices such as Oreos versus chocolate chip cookies, pizza versus hamburgers, BBQ chips versus cheddar popcorn, and wavy versus regular Lays. Additionally, students voted on whether they preferred extra reading time or more recess. The event emphasized student engagement in the democratic process, showcasing their voices on light-hearted topics.
