Polk County Public Schools reminds families that enrollment for device insurance coverage through Smart Tech is available until December 1, 2024. The insurance covers accidental damage, loss, and theft for school-issued devices.

The cost for coverage is $29 and it will remain active until July 31, 2025. Families have multiple convenient options to enroll:

1. By Phone: Call (877) 307-6777

2. Online: Visit www.smarttechins.com/polk

3. By Mail: Send a check or money order along with the enrollment form for each student to Smart Tech Insurance, P.O. Box 950095, Lake Mary, FL 32795.

For immediate action, interested families can also text "POLK" to 1-888-414-8007 to enroll. Smart Tech, a provider with 14 years of experience and an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau, emphasizes its reliability and quality service.

It is important to note that enrolling in this insurance is optional for families.
