Lackawanna County visitors in Scranton, Pennsylvania, have a busy weekend ahead from July 31 through August 3. The local event schedule includes a mix of sports, music, cultural activities, and family-friendly offerings.

At the PNC Field, the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders will host the Nashville Sounds in a baseball game. For movie enthusiasts, Dirty Dancing will be shown at the Circle Drive-In.

Downtown Scranton will host two events. First Friday Scranton will offer its regular attractions while the Scranton Jazz Festival takes place on select nights, featuring headliners Tower of Power and the SJF Big Band.

Additional events include Blooms & Butterflies at Lakeland Orchard & Cidery, an adult-themed evening at the Waterpark at Montage Mountain, and NEPA Latino Fiest at Nay Aug Park.
